Jeff Bohling initiated Empower AI’s transformation to become an AI-enabled technology services company, including identifying the right niche for delivering AI services to federal agencies, putting in place the right team with complementary skills and ensuring it had the right resources to impact customer success.
“Jeff has been and continues to be a transformational leader, driving significant commercial, operational and cultural changes that have better positioned the company for long-term success, and importantly to be even more responsive to our customers and their respective missions,” said Andre Jakubowski, chairman of the board at Empower AI and director at KKR.
Why Watch
In 2025, Bohling’s team will execute its business plan to support the federal government’s national security and citizen service missions by AI, enabling agencies to better anticipate challenges, react faster, reduce technical debt and achieve expected outcomes, he said.
“When creating something that’s better, cheaper and faster, generally accepted wisdom is that you have to give up one benefit to get the other two,” he said. “With AI, you actually can have all three.”
Fun fact: Bohling used to run a restaurant called Folktales Bar & Grille. “It was a great environment to learn the importance of customer service,” he said.
