About Paul Harrington
Paul Harrington is the Chief Growth Officer for Empower AI. In this role, Paul leads all business development, capture, and proposal teams to deliver mission-enhancing services and solutions to the public sector.
Paul has a distinguished track record of building new growth-focused organizations and turning around underperforming teams in both the government services and private technology sectors. Paul’s experience includes leading diverse global teams across the public and private sectors, high-end advisory services, information technology/systems integration, and business process outsourcing.
A former partner at McKinsey & Company, based in Washington, D.C., Paul built and led the Global Public and Social Sector Practice, advising senior government and private sector executives. At McKinsey, Paul led a 23-country Public Sector go-to-market (GTM) team, playing a catalytic role in tripling the size of the practice. In addition to his client development leadership, Paul served Fortune 50 private sector and government clients on GTM strategy, government procurement, organization, digital and talent topics.
Before McKinsey, Paul held multiple leadership roles throughout the government services sector, including General Dynamics Information Technology, Vangent, CGI Federal, and SRA International. Paul’s private sector technology experience includes Johnson & Johnson, Ariba (now part of SAP), and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he was one of the early members of the Siebel Center of Excellence, delivering Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for high-tech clients.
A former US Army officer, Paul holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University. In addition, Paul is a Boston University Questrom School of Business Dean’s Global Advisory Board member.
